This context raises questions regarding the directing processes and techniques employed by a blind director. This study aims to describe the directing process undertaken by Arif Prasetyo during the production of the film Salah Do'a and to identify the adaptation strategies used at each stage of film production. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with Arif Prasetyo (the primary informant), observation of the film production process, and documentation related to the making of Salah Do'a. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was verified using source triangulation. The results indicate that Arif Prasetyo, as a blind director, implemented adaptations across the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of Salah Do'a. Regarding the mechanisms for acquiring, processing, and verifying visual information, he relied on verbal and audio communication, facilitated by accessibility technology, as well as visual imagination and collaboration with the assistant director; these elements enabled the directing process to proceed effectively without compromising the director's functions and responsibilities in creating the film.} }
