      "abstract": "This study examines the representation of the modern Muslim woman\r\ncommunity in the Instagram account @Wardahyouthambassador, viewing social\r\nmedia as a space for the production of meaning and identity for Muslim women in\r\nIndonesia through the construction of symbols of modernity and religiosity in its\r\nvisual and narrative content. Using a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes'\r\nsemiotic analysis method (denotation, connotation, myth) on ten posts from July to\r\nDecember 2025, this study focuses on three indicators of modern Muslim women's\r\ncharacteristics according to Pamungkas, namely Modesty and Sanctity, Sanctity\r\nand Mobility, and Beauty and Modesty, which are linked to Stuart Hall's\r\nRepresentation Theory through a constructionist approach. The results show that\r\nall three categories appear simultaneously with differing degrees of dominance:\r\nModesty and Sanctity is present across all posts as the foundation of identity\r\nthrough the consistent use of hijab and pastel-colored clothing, Sanctity and\r\nMobility is represented through educational activities, self-development, sports,\r\nand social action that portray Muslim women as active in the public sphere without\r\nrelinquishing Islamic values, while Beauty and Modesty emerges as the most\r\ndominant category, in which beauty is constructed as part of self-actualization\r\naligned with Islamic values, so that overall the account functions as a space for\r\nmeaning production that builds an image of the modern Muslim woman as one who\r\nis able to combine religiosity, beauty, productivity, and social mobility\r\nsimultaneously.",
