%T PERAN GURU DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN BULLYING TERHADAP SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 3 SLEMAN
%X The role of teachers in addressing bullying through preventive measures includes providing understanding or knowledge about bullying through classical guidance and group guidance, and providing opportunities for students to consult with guidance and counseling services privately about the problems they face. The purpose of this paper is to identify, describe, and analyze the role of teachers in preventing bullying among students at MAN 3 Sleman. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative analysis methods. The subjects were guidance and counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, religious and moral teachers, and PPKN teachers. They were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through structured interviews and documentation. Data validity was tested using method triangulation by comparing the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results identified 11 (eleven) roles of teachers in bullying prevention efforts: 1) Teacher as motivator, 2) Teacher as creator, 3) Teacher as mediator, 4) Teacher as guide, 5) Teacher as consultant, 6) Teacher as organizer, 7) Teacher as supervisor, 8) Teacher as demonstrator, 9) Teacher as instructor, 10) Teacher as liaison, 11) Teacher as informant.
