These demands have the potential to cause academic stress if not balanced with strong adaptability. Therefore, self-resilience is a crucial factor in helping students survive, adapt, and cope with the various pressures that arise during their education. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-resilience and academic stress among students at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational approach. The subjects were 62 students selected using incidental sampling. The instruments used were a self-resilience scale adapted from the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and an academic stress scale. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, normality tests, and Pearson Product Moment correlation tests. The results showed that 79% of respondents' self-resilience levels were in the moderate category, 11.3% in the high category, and 9.7% in the low category. Meanwhile, the majority of academic stress levels were in the moderate category. The hypothesis test results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.435 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This finding indicates a significant relationship between self-resilience and academic stress in Islamic boarding school students, with a moderate level of correlation. The results indicate that resilience skills play a role in helping Islamic boarding school students cope with and adapt to academic pressure. date: 2026-06-05 date_type: published pages: 116 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS DAKWAH DAN KOMUNIKASI thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Fatma Nur Rohmah, NIM.: 22102020003 (2026) HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF-RESILIENCE DENGAN STRES AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA SANTRI FAKULTAS DAKWAH DAN KOMUNIKASI UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA.
