%X The Malaysian drama series Bidaah portrays the abuse of religious authority, resulting in various forms of violence against women. This study aims to identify the forms of violence against women depicted in the series, determine the most dominant form of violence, and explain how the dominant form is represented. The research employs a mixed methods sequential explanatory design, consisting of quantitative content analysis followed by qualitative content analysis. The findings reveal five forms of violence against women in Bidaah: physical, psychological, sexual, spiritual, and functional violence, while financial violence was not identified. Psychological violence emerged as the most dominant form. The qualitative analysis shows that psychological violence is represented through three main indicators: controlling behavior, degrading treatment, and verbal condemnation. These findings indicate that violence against women in Bidaah is not only portrayed through physical actions but also through emotional pressure, negative labeling, behavioral control, and power relations constructed through religious discourse. This study is expected to contribute to the development of mass communication studies, particularly in the fields of media, gender, and the representation of violence against women.
