abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of implementing the Child-Friendly Madrasah (MRA) Program at MIN 1 Bantul in response to the Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) policy. On the other hand, the madrasah is faced with internal challenges in the form of conventional teaching patterns among teachers and the heterogeneous backgrounds of incoming students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of POAC management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) in the MRA Program at MIN 1 Bantul.
The method used is descriptive-interpretative qualitative through field studies at MIN 1 Bantul. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with the headmaster, the MRA team, the committee, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model (transcription, reduction, coding, categorization, conclusion) with data validity testing through method and source triangulation.
The results show that: (1) Planning integrates MRA values into the vision and mission through a participatory approach, strong regulations, the formation of a committee team, and RKAM budgeting. (2) Organizing is carried out through the formation of an MRA implementation Working Group (Pokja) based on teacher profiles and increasing human resource capacity through independent training. (3) Actuating is realized through the 5S culture, active-interactive learning, differentiated learning (cooking class, dream day), and granting classroom autonomy. (4) Controlling is carried out through Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM), CCTV monitoring, suggestion/complaint boxes, regular meetings, and synchronization with the regional application "Cinta Anak Bantul" to ensure a zero-bullying learning environment.
