      "abstract": "This study examines the management of the Academic\r\nCompetency Test (ACT), which serves as a final learning\r\noutcome assessment replacing the National Examination\r\nbased on the Regulation of the Minister of Primary and\r\nSecondary Education No. 9 of 2025. This research\r\nanalyzes the comparative management of ACT\r\nimplementation at MA Wahid Hasyim and SMA Bumi\r\nCendekia, particularly within the context of dual\r\ncurriculum implementation in boarding schools.\r\nThis research employs a descriptivecomparative\r\nqualitative approach. The primary data were\r\nobtained through purposive sampling involving 12 informants\r\nand were strengthened through interviews, observations, and\r\ndocumentation. This study formulates strategies for\r\nimproving educational quality based on the POAC+E management functions (Planning, Organizing, Actuating,\r\nControlling, and Evaluation) to support students’\r\ncontinuity of study in higher education..\r\nThe findings reveal that, first, both institutions\r\nimplement ACT management systematically, although they\r\ndemonstrate different managerial strategies and\r\ncharacteristics. Second, ACT results influence the fulfillment\r\nof requirements for continuing education to higher\r\neducation institutions; however, they do not directly\r\ndetermine student admission to universities. Third, the ACT\r\nmanagement strategies implemented by both institutions\r\ninclude: (1) strengthening the English Corner program to\r\nimprove students’ mastery of English materials; (2)\r\nimplementing STEAM-based research methods to\r\ndevelop students’ scientific analytical skills; (3)\r\nstrengthening ACT preparation through literacy improvement\r\nprograms and the provision of tutoring services; and (4)\r\ncreating a positive learning environment to develop students’\r\nconfidence and optimism in facing the ACT.\r\nHolistically, ACT management reflects the\r\nmanagerial capacity of educational institutions in\r\norganizing learning evaluation programs. Therefore, Islamic\r\nboarding school-based educational institutions are\r\nencouraged to integrate modern curriculum innovations with\r\nadaptive boarding management systems in order to produce graduates who possess strong spiritual\r\nvalues while remaining academically competitive.",
