      "abstract": "PT. Taruna Karya Utama is a manufacturing company engaged in ready-mix\r\nconcrete production. Activities on the production line at PT. Taruna Karya Utama\r\ninvolve various machinery, materials, and chemicals that potentially pose\r\noccupational accident risks, ranging from low to extreme levels. These potential\r\nrisks are heightened by the lack of a comprehensive risk analysis and low worker\r\ncompliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage. This study utilizes\r\nthe Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Hazard and\r\nOperability Study (HAZOP) methods to identify potential hazards, assess risk\r\nlevels, analyze the causes and consequences of deviations, and provide risk\r\ncontrol recommendations. The results indicate that there are 19 validated\r\npotential hazards on the production line of PT. Taruna Karya Utama. Based on\r\nthe risk assessment using the HIRA method, the risks comprise 2 extreme\r\ncategories with a percentage of 10%, 6 high risks with a percentage of 32%, 7\r\nmoderate risks with a percentage of 37%, and 4 low risks with a percentage of\r\n21%. To minimize potential hazards, risk control actions are implemented using\r\nthe HAZOP worksheet. The analysis yields 49 proposed control measures\r\nreferencing the ISO 45001 (2018) hierarchy, consisting of 12 engineering\r\ncontrols, 26 administrative controls, and 11 PPE usage measures.",
