      "abstract": "The current student body is predominantly made up of Generation Alpha – a\r\ngeneration that is extremely tech-savvy. MTs Negeri 2 Temanggung is committed to\r\nnurturing students who are able to develop in line with the demands of the modern age.\r\nThis commitment is realised through various technology-based learning programmes and\r\nfacilities. However, the use of technology-based learning resources is predominantly found\r\nin science subjects, whilst in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly the History of\r\nIslamic Culture (SKI), the availability of digital learning resources remains very limited.\r\nThis situation has led to a lack of motivation among pupils in their SKI studies. This study\r\naims to investigate how to design learning resources for the History and Culture of Islam\r\nfor Generation Alpha using Augmented Reality technology at MTs Negeri 2 Temanggung,\r\nas well as to assess their validity and effectiveness in the learning process.\r\nThis study is a research and development (R&D) project that utilises the ADDIE\r\nmodel developed by Robert Maribe Branch. Research data were collected through\r\ninterviews, observation and questionnaires. The data were then analysed using both\r\nqualitative and quantitative approaches, in accordance with the characteristics and types\r\nof data obtained.\r\nThe research findings show that 1) following a development and research process\r\nbased on the ADDIE model—namely the Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement and\r\nEvaluate stages—the WARIS learning resource was produced. The WARIS learning\r\nresource has the following characteristics: it is a digital resource based on Augmented\r\nReality; it is visually engaging, contextual, easy to understand, easy to use without\r\nadditional applications, capable of enhancing independence, interactive, and suited to the\r\ncharacteristics of Generation Alpha learners. 2) The WARIS learning resource has been\r\nvalidated by several experts, namely media specialists and subject matter experts. The\r\nresults of the expert validation indicate that the WARIS learning resource is deemed\r\nsuitable for use in teaching and learning. 3) The WARIS learning resource has also\r\nundergone quantitative testing, demonstrating that it is highly effective in supporting the\r\nlearning outcomes of the SKI module on the role of the Walisanga in Islamic da’wah across\r\nthe archipelago. The effectiveness rate reached 82.3 per cent, which is classified as a high\r\nlevel of effectiveness. The development of the WARIS platform has made a number of\r\ncontributions, namely the creation of Augmented Reality-based learning resources, the\r\nprovision of learning resources tailored to the characteristics of Generation Alpha, the\r\noptimisation of technology use in madrasahs, and the enrichment of learning resources for\r\nIslamic Religious Education, particularly the subject of Islamic Cultural History.",
