N2  - The Kyai's leadership plays a central role in shaping santri's religiosity in pesantren, particularly through a transformational leadership style that emphasizes exemplary behavior, effective communication, and attention to individual development. At Pesantren Al-Hamidiyah Depok, some santri show high enthusiasm in carrying out religious activities, while others still struggle with consistency due to differing levels of awareness and readiness, prompting this study to examine how the Kyai's transformational leadership is practiced and applied in guiding and shaping santri's religiosity. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with the Kyai, ustadz, and santri as subjects, and the Kyai's transformational leadership style and santri's religiosity as objects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman technique (data reduction, data display, and verification), with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the Kyai's transformational leadership is manifested through four dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Idealized influence is reflected in the Kyai's honest and consistent exemplary conduct; inspirational motivation emerges through religious talks and routine study sessions; intellectual stimulation is realized through the principle of al-adab fauqal ilm and critical-thinking guidance; while individualized consideration is applied through tiered mentoring and the Jalasatur Istima forum.
