        abstract = {This study is motivated by the importance of developing the soft skills of mosque caretakers (marbot) as an effort to improve the quality of mosque services and meet organizational needs in responding to the development of modern Islamic preaching. Mosque caretakers are required not only to possess technical skills but also communication, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and congregational service skills. This study aims to analyze the development of mosque caretakers? soft skills through a training program at Real Masjid Yogyakarta in 2026. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Salda{\~n}a, consisting of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that the development of mosque caretakers? soft skills is carried out through four stages: training needs identification, training program planning, training implementation, and training outcome evaluation. The training is conducted through mentoring, coaching, religious studies, leadership training, communication training, congregational service training, digital media training, public speaking, and learning by doing. The findings also indicate changes in the mosque caretakers? communication, leadership, teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and service abilities after participating in the development activities. The development of soft skills at Real Masjid is characterized by the concept of ?Bersujud dan Bertumbuh? (?Prostrating and Growing?), which integrates spiritual development, cadre development, and practice-based learning, thereby supporting the formation of professional, adaptive mosque caretakers who are oriented toward Islamic preaching services.}
