A total of 213 cases have been recorded in the UPTD PPA of Bantul Regency throughout 2025, so to provide guarantees of protection for women and children, the Bantul Regency government established the Task Force for Handling Women and Children's Problems (Satgas PPA) as a community-based volunteer to support outreach and victim protection. This study aims to analyze the competence of the Bantul Regency PPA Task Force in handling victims of violence and examine how these competencies are realized in practice in the field using the Spencer and Spencer Competency Theory which includes emotional, intellectual, and social dimensions. This is done using a combination method approach (mixed methods) of the sequential explanatory model which consists of a descriptive quantitative stage and a qualitative stage. The results of the study show that in general, the competence of the Bantul Regency PPA Task Force is in the high category (73\%), followed by the medium (21\%) and low (6\%) categories. Then, the qualitative findings confirmed that all informants applied the basic principles of service consistently on the emotional dimension, while on the intellectual and social dimensions showed that there was still a need to increase the capacity of PPA Task Force members to create optimal task implementation.} }
