abstract: Cash Waqf-Linked Sukuk (CWLS) is an Islamic social finance innovation that integrates cash waqf with government sukuk to generate sustainable economic and social benefits. Although it holds great potential for supporting social financing and community empowerment, the development of CWLS in Indonesia still faces challenges, particularly regarding market conditions, public understanding, trust in waqf administrators, and the optimization of the instrument’s performance. This study aims to analyze the impact of the market perspective and the social perspective on the success of CWLS issuances and their performance in Indonesia, as well as the impact of issuance success on CWLS performance.
Research This study employed a quantitative approach using the explanatory research method. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 184 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression in SPSS, including tests for validity, reliability, classical assumptions, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that the market perspective and the social perspective have a positive and significant effect on both the success of CWLS issuance and CWLS performance. In addition, the success of CWLS issuance also has a positive and significant effect on CWLS performance. These findings suggest that strengthening market and social aspects can enhance the success of issuance while optimizing CWLS performance from both financial and social perspectives.
