        <dc:description>This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)&#13;
on the trust of zakat contributors, the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)&#13;
on the intention to pay zakat, the effect of trust on the intention to pay zakat, and&#13;
the role of trust in mediating the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on&#13;
the intention to pay zakat through BAZNAS Cirebon Regency. This study employs a&#13;
quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through&#13;
questionnaires from 125 respondents aged 18–24 years and analyzed using Partial&#13;
Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that&#13;
accountability, independence, fairness, responsibility, and transparency have a&#13;
positive and significant effect on the trust of zakat contributors. Furthermore,&#13;
accountability, responsibility, and transparency have a positive and significant&#13;
effect on the intention to pay zakat, while independence and fairness do not have a&#13;
significant effect on the intention to pay zakat. Trust has a positive and significant&#13;
effect on the intention to pay zakat. Furthermore, trust is able to mediate the effects&#13;
of accountability, independence, responsibility, and transparency on the intention&#13;
to pay zakat, but is unable to mediate the effect of fairness on the intention to pay&#13;
zakat through BAZNAS Cirebon Regency.</dc:description>
