      "abstract": "This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)\r\non the trust of zakat contributors, the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)\r\non the intention to pay zakat, the effect of trust on the intention to pay zakat, and\r\nthe role of trust in mediating the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on\r\nthe intention to pay zakat through BAZNAS Cirebon Regency. This study employs a\r\nquantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through\r\nquestionnaires from 125 respondents aged 18–24 years and analyzed using Partial\r\nLeast Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that\r\naccountability, independence, fairness, responsibility, and transparency have a\r\npositive and significant effect on the trust of zakat contributors. Furthermore,\r\naccountability, responsibility, and transparency have a positive and significant\r\neffect on the intention to pay zakat, while independence and fairness do not have a\r\nsignificant effect on the intention to pay zakat. Trust has a positive and significant\r\neffect on the intention to pay zakat. Furthermore, trust is able to mediate the effects\r\nof accountability, independence, responsibility, and transparency on the intention\r\nto pay zakat, but is unable to mediate the effect of fairness on the intention to pay\r\nzakat through BAZNAS Cirebon Regency.",
