This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires from 125 respondents aged 18–24 years and analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that accountability, independence, fairness, responsibility, and transparency have a positive and significant effect on the trust of zakat contributors. Furthermore, accountability, responsibility, and transparency have a positive and significant effect on the intention to pay zakat, while independence and fairness do not have a significant effect on the intention to pay zakat. Trust has a positive and significant effect on the intention to pay zakat.
