One psychological factor that is thought to be associated with psychological well-being is psychological capital as a psychological resource for coping with various demands. This study aimed to examine the relationship between psychological capital and psychological well-being among university students working on their undergraduate theses. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants were 163 university students who were working on their undergraduate theses. Data were collected using the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), which was modified by the researcher to measure psychological capital, and the Psychological Well-Being Short Scale (PWBSS) to measure psychological well-being. The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between psychological capital and psychological well-being, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.680 and p < 0.001. These findings indicate that students with higher levels of psychological capital tend to have higher levels of psychological well-being. The findings suggest that psychological capital is one of the psychological resources associated with students’ psychological well-being during the process of completing their undergraduate theses. The results may serve as a consideration for higher education institutions in developing efforts to strengthen students’ psychological capital.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">150 Psikologi</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-08-18</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN HUMANIORA</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
