In response to this, FSTVLST initiated the Gerakan Dara Setara to create concert spaces that are safer and more equitable for women. This study is motivated by the limited psychological research regarding the individual experiences of female concertgoers with the Gerakan Dara Setara. The research question addresses how female concertgoers experience the Gerakan Dara Setara at FSTVLST concerts. The study aims to understand these experiences using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Participants were selected via purposive sampling based on the following criteria: female, FSTVLST fan, having attended an FSTVLST concert, awareness of the Gerakan Dara Setara, and residency in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Eight participants took part in initial interviews; three were subsequently selected for in-depth interviews based on the depth and relevance of their experiences, while the other five served as supporting participants. Data collection involved passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), proceeding through stages of reading transcripts, initial coding, categorizing, and theme development. The study identified five main themes: (1) the process of female concertgoers' attachment to FSTVLST; (2) FSTVLST's music as part of the female concertgoers' emotional experience; (3) the interpretation of the Gerakan Dara Setara as an effort to create a safe space for female concertgoers; (4) experiences of solidarity and social togetherness at FSTVLST concerts; and (5) the meaning attributed to emotional experiences following FSTVLST concerts. The findings indicate that the individual experiences of female concertgoers regarding the Gerakan Dara Setara are shaped by the meaning derived from the music, the sense of safety, and social interactions within the concert elements that foster freedom of expression, strengthen solidarity, and facilitate the release of emotional burdens (catharsis). Thus, the Dara Setara Movement is interpreted as an initiative that supports the creation of a safer, more comfortable, and more meaningful concert experience for female audience members.} }
