This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore students’ subjective experiences related to learning engagement. The participants consisted of three students from MAN 3 Bantul with different levels of engagement, supported by homeroom teachers and parents. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Moustakas’ phenomenological steps. The findings revealed that student engagement is influenced by internal factors, such as learning motivation, interest, emotional condition, and goal orientation, as well as external factors, including teacher support, peer relationships, teaching methods, classroom atmosphere, and family support. Student engagement was reflected in active participation, efforts to understand learning materials, and persistence in completing assignments. This study indicates that student engagement is a multidimensional phenomenon shaped by the interaction between personal and environmental factors. %K Keterlibatan Siswa, Proses Belajar, Fenomenologi %D 2026 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib78179
