      "abstract": "This study aims to analyze the framing of Indonesia Gelap demonstration news\r\npublished by CNNIndonesia.com using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis\r\nmodel. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing ten\r\nnews articles published between 17 and 22 February 2025. The samples were\r\nselected through purposive sampling based on the chronological stages of the\r\ndemonstrations and the diversity of actors featured in the news, while data validity\r\nwas strengthened through expert triangulation. The findings reveal that\r\nCNNIndonesia.com predominantly framed the Indonesia Gelap demonstrations as\r\na legitimate public response to government policies perceived as failing to address\r\npublic interests. Three dominant framing themes were identified, Government\r\nPolicy Issues, The Need for Dialogue and Policy Evaluation, and Government\r\nResponses and Defense. The theme of Government Policy Issues appeared most\r\nfrequently, followed by the Need for Dialogue and Policy Evaluation, while\r\nGovernment Responses and Defense functioned as an alternative perspective in\r\nseveral reports. Overall, CNNIndonesia.com directed readers' attention toward\r\ncriticism of government policies, whereas moral judgments and recommended\r\nsolutions were primarily constructed through statements from students, political\r\nanalysts, public figures, and government officials.",
