      "abstract": "This research is motivated by the importance of preserving\r\ntraditional arts through the process of regeneration among the\r\nyounger generation from an early age. Jaran Kepang Dance, as\r\none of the traditional arts, needs to be introduced and passed on\r\nto children so that its existence can be maintained and the\r\ncultural values contained within it can continue to be preserved.\r\nTuronggo Krido Taruno Dance Studio in Kandangan,\r\nTemanggung, is one of the places where the regeneration of Jaran\r\nKepang Dance takes place through dance learning for early\r\nchildhood. This research aims to describe the regeneration\r\nprocess of Jaran Kepang Dance through learning for early\r\nchildhood and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in\r\nthe regeneration and preservation of Jaran Kepang Dance.\r\nThe results of the research show that the regeneration process of\r\nJaran Kepang Dance is carried out gradually and continuously.\r\nThe process begins with introducing Jaran Kepang Dance to\r\nchildren from an early age, followed by learning, training,\r\nexploration, expression, appreciation, mastery of dance\r\nmovements, and children's involvement in performances. Regular\r\ntraining provides children with opportunities to gain knowledge\r\nand skills in Jaran Kepang Dance directly. Preservation is\r\ncarried out not only through the transmission of dance\r\nmovements but also through the introduction of cultural values,\r\nincluding togetherness, discipline, responsibility, and courage.",
