In physics lessons, wave topics particularly the concepts of transversal and longitudinal waves are difficult for visually impaired students to understand because they are mostly presented through visual representations. A preliminary study at MTs LB/A Yaketunis Yogyakarta found that the available tactile teaching aids were still limited and mostly assembled manually from heterogeneous materials, resulting in inconsistent shapes, poor durability, and difficulty in reproduction. This study aims to develop 3D Printing-based tactile learning media on wave topics for visually impaired students. The resulting product consists of two tactile teaching aids transversal and longitudinal wave models made from Polylactic Acid (PLA) filament and equipped with Braille labels and a Quick Guide Book. The product was validated by two material experts and two media experts using a five-point Likert-scale instrument. The results showed a feasibility percentage of 85.0% for the material aspect and 93.6% for the media aspect, with a combined percentage of 89.6%, both falling into the "Very Feasible" category according to Widoyoko's (2012) criteria. The completeness of material and Braille readability aspects obtained the highest scores, while the aspect linking the material to daily life obtained a relatively lower score, though it remained feasible. These findings indicate that the developed 3D Printing-based tactile learning media is feasible for use as a physics learning medium for visually impaired students. date: 2026-08-18 date_type: published pages: 96 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUAN thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Rifqi Waufal Ardiyan, NIM.: 19104050053 (2026) PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN TAKTIL BERBASIS 3D PRINTING PADA MATERI GELOMBANG BAGI PESERTA DIDIK TUNANETRA.
