evaluated management to support effective learning. This study aims to evaluate&#13;
physics laboratory management in three State Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN)&#13;
in Sleman in terms of planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring and&#13;
evaluation. It also describes laboratory facilities and infrastructure using the&#13;
detailed indicators in the observation instrumen applied during field data collection.&#13;
The facilities instrumen was developed with reference to the former Regulation of&#13;
the Minister of National Education No. 24 of 2007. In the discussion, results from&#13;
that legacy instrumen are interpreted proportionally within the current regulatory&#13;
context, namely Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and&#13;
Technology No. 22 of 2023 for facilities and infrastructure and Regulation of the&#13;
Minister of Primary and Secondary Education No. 26 of 2025 for education-unit&#13;
management standards.&#13;
The study used a descriptive-evaluative design with a qualitative approach.&#13;
Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with laboratory heads,&#13;
physics teachers, and laboratory personnel, direct observation, and documentation.&#13;
The main analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model of data collection, data&#13;
reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. Percentages from&#13;
the observation checklist were used only as supporting descriptive summaries of&#13;
facility-indicator fulfillment, not as inferential statistical analysis. Data credibility&#13;
was strengthened through source and technique triangulation by comparing&#13;
evidence concerning the same indicators across interviews, observations, and&#13;
documents.&#13;
The findings show that all three madrasahs implemented the main laboratory&#13;
management functions, but differed in implementation consistency, administrative&#13;
evidence, human resources, and facility conditions. MAN 2 Sleman faced&#13;
constraints in budget, laboratory personnel, equipment availability, and written&#13;
monitoring and evaluation. MAN 3 Sleman showed relatively strong planning,&#13;
laboratory use, and equipment availability, while limitations remained in room size&#13;
and supporting spaces. MAN 5 Sleman had relatively regular monitoring and&#13;
reporting, but lacked laboratory personnel and used the laboratory jointly for&#13;
science subjects. Based on the detailed instrumen derived from the former 2007&#13;
regulation, facility-indicator fulfillment was 65% at MAN 2, 95% at MAN 3, and&#13;
87% at MAN 5. These percentages refer to the legacy instrumen and are not&#13;
presented as compliance rates with the 2023 regulation. The evaluation supports&#13;
school-specific improvements in laboratory personnel, maintenance, evaluation&#13;
