However, mathematics assessment in elementary schools is still dominated by procedural questions, lacks contextual relevance, and has not optimally utilized learning media that support students’ understanding. As a result, students often experience difficulties in comprehending word problems and relating mathematical concepts to real-life situations. This study aimed to develop Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)- based multiple-choice mathematics questions assisted by the Paper Mode feature of Wayground to produce a valid, reliable, and feasible assessment instrument for fourth-grade elementary/Islamic elementary school students. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model. The product was validated by a subject matter expert and a classroom practitioner, while the product trial involved 23 students of Grade IV-B at SDN Caturtunggal 4. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, and were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods, including tests of validity, reliability, item difficulty, discrimination index, and students’ responses. The findings indicated that the developed product obtained validation scores of 86,08% from the subject matter expert and 93,84% from the classroom practitioner, both categorized as highly feasible. Of the 20 test items, 17 were declared valid, with a reliability coefficient of 0,888, which falls into the very high category. The item difficulty analysis showed that most items were of moderate difficulty, while the discrimination index was predominantly categorized as very good. In addition, students’ responses reached 83,91%, indicating a positive response.
