"Mathematics is a discipline that plays an important role in developing\r\nlogical, systematic thinking and problem-solving skills. However, mathematics\r\nassessment in elementary schools is still dominated by procedural questions, lacks\r\ncontextual relevance, and has not optimally utilized learning media that support\r\nstudents’ understanding. As a result, students often experience difficulties in\r\ncomprehending word problems and relating mathematical concepts to real-life\r\nsituations. This study aimed to develop Realistic Mathematics Education (RME)-\r\nbased multiple-choice mathematics questions assisted by the Paper Mode feature\r\nof Wayground to produce a valid, reliable, and feasible assessment instrument for\r\nfourth-grade elementary/Islamic elementary school students.\r\nThis study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using\r\nthe 4D model. The product was validated by a subject matter expert and a\r\nclassroom practitioner, while the product trial involved 23 students of Grade IV-B\r\nat SDN Caturtunggal 4. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and\r\nquestionnaires, and were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods,\r\nincluding tests of validity, reliability, item difficulty, discrimination index, and\r\nstudents’ responses.\r\nThe findings indicated that the developed product obtained validation\r\nscores of 86,08% from the subject matter expert and 93,84% from the classroom\r\npractitioner, both categorized as highly feasible. Of the 20 test items, 17 were\r\ndeclared valid, with a reliability coefficient of 0,888, which falls into the very high\r\ncategory. The item difficulty analysis showed that most items were of moderate\r\ndifficulty, while the discrimination index was predominantly categorized as very\r\ngood. In addition, students’ responses reached 83,91%, indicating a positive\r\nresponse. Therefore, the developed RME-based multiple-choice mathematics\r\nquestions assisted by Wayground Paper Mode are considered feasible for use as a\r\nmathematics assessment instrument for fourth-grade elementary/Islamic\r\nelementary school students."^^ .
