      "abstract": "This study was prompted by preliminary observations indicating an\r\nimprovement in the quality of education at MI Al-Huda Karangnongko, Sleman,\r\nover the past few years. This quality enhancement is evident in the improved quality\r\nof the institution itself, as well as in the academic and non-academic performance\r\nof the students. Such improvements necessitate the implementation of specific\r\nstrategies by the madrasah head to manage educational quality.\r\nThis qualitative study was conducted at MI Al-Huda Karangnongko, Sleman,\r\ninvolving five informants. The research focuses on examining the madrasah head's\r\nstrategies for managing the quality of inputs, processes, and outputs, as well as the\r\nfactors influencing these aspects. Data collection was carried out through\r\ninterviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques included\r\ndata condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification.\r\nThe research results indicate that the strategies implemented by the head of\r\nthe madrasah were applied systematically across two quality components input\r\nquality management and the educational process through the transformation of the\r\nmindsets of all stakeholders and the madrasah community, financial rebranding,\r\nprogram formulation, madrasah quality enhancement, teacher professional\r\ndevelopment via Becoming an Inspiring Teacher workshops, the implementation of\r\nboth formal and unannounced supervision, and collaboration with external parties\r\nand partners. The implementation of these strategies successfully raised the\r\ninstitution's accreditation to an \"A\" rating, secured 1st place in the Healthy\r\nMadrasah competition for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), achieved the\r\nSleman Regency Adiwiyata Green School certification, and improved student\r\nacademic and non-academic quality, evidenced by various competition victories\r\nand higher academic scores. The successful implementation of this quality\r\nmanagement strategy by the madrasah head is supported by the availability of\r\ncompetent teaching staff and active participation from parents; however, it still\r\nfaces obstacles specifically, limited budgetary funding which result in a lack of\r\nphysical infrastructure and information technology equipment.",
