STRATEGI KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MANAJEMEN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI MADRASAH IBTIDAI’YAH AL-HUDA KARANGNONGKO SLEMANNIM.: 22104090032Abdur RahmanauthorThis study was prompted by preliminary observations indicating an improvement in the quality of education at MI Al-Huda Karangnongko, Sleman, over the past few years. This quality enhancement is evident in the improved quality of the institution itself, as well as in the academic and non-academic performance of the students. Such improvements necessitate the implementation of specific strategies by the madrasah head to manage educational quality. This qualitative study was conducted at MI Al-Huda Karangnongko, Sleman, involving five informants. The research focuses on examining the madrasah head's strategies for managing the quality of inputs, processes, and outputs, as well as the factors influencing these aspects. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques included data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The research results indicate that the strategies implemented by the head of the madrasah were applied systematically across two quality components input quality management and the educational process through the transformation of the mindsets of all stakeholders and the madrasah community, financial rebranding, program formulation, madrasah quality enhancement, teacher professional development via Becoming an Inspiring Teacher workshops, the implementation of both formal and unannounced supervision, and collaboration with external parties and partners. The implementation of these strategies successfully raised the institution's accreditation to an "A" rating, secured 1st place in the Healthy Madrasah competition for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), achieved the Sleman Regency Adiwiyata Green School certification, and improved student academic and non-academic quality, evidenced by various competition victories and higher academic scores.
