%T NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM TRADISI RASULAN DI DESA GETAS, PLAYEN, GUNUNGKIDUL
%X This research is motivated by the existence of the Rasulan tradition in Getas Village, Playen, Gunungkidul, as a cultural heritage resulting from Islamic acculturation and Javanese culture which has remained sustainable until now. In the midst of modernization and the rise of religious purification views, this tradition still survives and contains various Islamic educational values that are manifested in every series of its implementation. This research aims to analyze the values of Islamic education contained in the Rasulan tradition and examine its relevance as a medium of Islamic education based on local wisdom.
This research applies a qualitative approach with anthropological and sociological methods. The theoretical framework used includes the theory of Islamic values according to J. Mark Halstead, the theory of Islamic religious education according to Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, the theory of cultural anthropology according to Koentjaraningrat, and the theory of social cognitive according to Albert Bandura. The research subjects consisted of the Head of Getas Village, religious leaders, traditional leaders, the Apostolic committee, and the community involved in the implementation of traditions. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed descriptively-interpretively using triangulation of sources and techniques.
The results of the study show that the Rasulan tradition in Getas Village contains various Islamic educational values that are reflected in each series of implementations. These values include religious values in the form of gratitude to Allah Swt., social values in the form of ukhuwah, mutual cooperation, and social concern, as well as moral values in the form of sincerity, responsibility, and simplicity. These values are internalized through cultural practices that have been acculturated with Islamic teachings so that they become part of people's lives. Despite facing the challenges of modernization, theological contestation, and declining participation of the younger generation, the Apostolic tradition still has the potential as a contextual, inclusive, and sustainable medium of Islamic education based on local wisdom.
