%T INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI RELIGIUS DALAM TRADISI NYONGKOLAN: PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM MASYARAKAT SASAK DI DUSUN PENAKAK, MASBAGIK TIMUR, NUSA TENGGARA BARAT
%X This study is motivated by the dynamics of the Nyongkolan tradition among the Sasak community, which continues to embody religious and social values but has experienced shifts due to modernization, the dominance of entertainment, and declining understanding of the tradition’s religious meaning. This study aims to analyze the religious values contained in the Nyongkolan tradition, the process of their internalization, and the model of religious value internalization from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education among the Sasak community in Penakak Hamlet, Masbagik Timur, East Lombok
This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data were obtained thru interviews, observations, and documentation of religious leaders, customary leaders, and the community involved in the Nyongkolan tradition. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The findings indicate that Nyongkolan contains the values of gratitude, social ties, togetherness, mutual cooperation, responsibility, politeness, respect for parents and family, preservation of dignity, and adherence to Islamic law. The internalization process occurs through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. The internalization model is inclusive, dialogical, contextual, participatory, humanistic, and transformative. Therefore, Nyongkolan is relevant as a medium for Islamic Religious Education based on local wisdom, although strengthening religious values is necessary to ensure that the tradition remains consistent with Islamic teachings amid social change.
