Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Amin Dampasan 2 is facing challenges in managing the tahfidz program for students who have different levels of ability. The policy of memorizing 30 juz in six years, adjusted to each student's ability, requires careful and measurable management to track progress in a systematic way. This study aims to analyze: (1) the implementation of strategic management; (2) the contribution of program management; and (3) the key factors that contribute to achieving the memorization targets. This study employed a qualitative research design. Data collection was con-ducted using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and verification of data valid-ity through technique triangulation, followed by drawing conclusions.. Based on the results of the study titled Strategic Management in Achieving Al-Qur’an Memorization Targets at the Al-Amin Dampasan 2 Tahfidzul Qur’an Is-lamic Boarding School, Ciamis Regency, it was found that: (1) Strategic manage-ment is implemented systematically through four key stages: environmental scan-ning (internal and external analysis); strategy formulation (vision, mission, poli-cies, and target flexibility); strategy implementation (dawn recitation sessions, af-ternoon review, mandatory memorization hours, the practice of Dhuha prayers, and recitation of the Asmaul Husna); and evaluation via progress monitoring logs and tasmi’ (oral recitation) assessments. The process fosters the cultivation of charac-ter traits among the students particularly discipline, punctuality, responsibility, and a religious attitude through the routines of the tahfidz (Quran memorization) pro-gram and Islamic boarding school activities. The Tahfidz (Quran memorization) program is integrated with supporting programs comprising English and Arabic language instruction as well as the study of Kitab Kuning; (2) The contribution of Tahfidz program management to the achievement of memorization goals is realized through structured study time management, daily monitoring by supervisors, and flexible targets that offer each student a fair opportunity aligned with their individ-ual capacity to progress without excessive pressure; (3) Key success factors con-tributing to the tahfidz program include the students' internal motivation, intensive guidance and counsel from mentors, a conducive and islamic boarding school en-vironment, leadership's role in establishing focused policies, and strong collabora-tion among the various components of the islamic boarding school.371.2 Pendidikan - Manajemen2026-08-13UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ILMU TARBIYAH DAN KEGURUANThesis
