N2  - This study analyzes the influence of Islamic values and organizational tradition on the motivation of Korps HMI-Wati (KOHATI) members at the Faculty of Sharia and Law Commissariat, Yogyakarta Branch, in expressing resistance against patriarchal culture on social media. The primary research focus addresses two fundamental dimensions: how the internalization of emancipatory Islamic values and how KOHATI's organizational framing and cadre traditions spark and direct members' motivation toward digital resistance. The objective of this research is to analyze deeply the influence of Islamic values and KOHATI organizational traditions in shaping members' subjective motivation and digital resistance expressions against patriarchal structures. This study employs an integration of Max Weber?s Social Action Theory (instrumental rational, value rational, affective, and traditional) alongside James C. Scott?s Theory of Resistance, emphasizing public transcript, infrapolitics, and everyday resistance. The research methodology adopts Robert V. Kozinets? netnography through digital participant observation on the official Instagram account @kohatisyariahukum, complemented by in-depth interviews with KOHATI leaders and organizational document analysis. The findings reveal that: First, Islamic values exert a primary influence on cadre motivation through Value Rational Action (Wertrational). The internalization of Tauhid and Social Justice principles derived from HMI?s Basic Values of Struggle (NDP) liberates cadres from cultural subordination, framing resistance against patriarchal culture as a form of worship and social ijtihad. Second, KOHATI organizational traditions, specifically formal cadre training such as Latihan Khusus KOHATI (LKK), a vibrant discursive culture, and legal scholarship in Sharia and Law, provide the foundation for Instrumental Rational Action (Zweckrational) and Traditional Action. These traditions equip cadres with critical consciousness, gender analysis skills, and tactical use of Instagram as a public transcript repurposed as an infrapolitical arena for everyday resistance. The study concludes that KOHATI members' digital resistance represents a synthesis of progressive Islamic values and organizational intellectual traditions in dismantling patriarchal hegemony in the digital sphere.
