Various problems such as violence against children, insufficient attention to education, and neglect of children's needs indicate that the understanding and implementation of children's rights still need to be strengthened. This condition reflects a gap between the values taught by Islam and the practices that have developed in society. This study aims to identify hadiths that discuss children's rights, analyze their understanding through a thematic study approach, and explain their contextualization in the contemporary era. This research is a library research study using a qualitative approach. The primary data sources consist of hadiths related to children's rights, while the secondary data sources are obtained from books of hadith commentary, books, scholarly journals, and other relevant literature. Data were collected through documentary study and then analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method with a thematic study approach. The results of the study show that the hadiths concerning children's rights include the right to life, the right to education, the right to financial support (nafkah), the right to affection, and the right to justice. Through a thematic study approach, these can be understood as interrelated teachings that form the protection and welfare of children in accordance with Islamic principles. In the contemporary era, the values contained in these hadiths remain relevant as guidelines for preventing violence against children, ensuring access to proper education, fulfilling parents' responsibility for their children's financial support, building affectionate parenting patterns, and treating children fairly without discrimination.
