The study starts from epistemological issues in feminist interpretation, especially regarding the limits of interpreters in establishing knowledge claims and determining authority over the meaning of the Qur’an. In this context, Hidayatullah’s critique of the tendencies in feminist interpretation becomes important to see to what extent an interpretation can maintain its truth claims and epistemological certainty. This study is literature research using a philosophical-epistemological approach. The main data for the research comes from Feminist Edges of the Qur’an, while supporting data is obtained from various literatures related to feminist interpretation, interpretation epistemology, and Hidayatullah's thought. The analysis is conducted in a critical-interpretative way to identify forms of epistemological issues in Hidayatullah’s critique and to construct radical uncertainty as a perspective to understand these issues. Research results show that Hidayatullah's epistemological critique highlights the inherent limitations in every attempt to interpret the Qur'an. These limitations are related to the interpreter's subjectivity, historical context, social position, and the epistemological tools used to understand the text. In this framework, radical uncertainty is understood as the awareness that interpreters do not have fully final or certain access to the meaning of the Qur'an. This uncertainty is not just a methodological weakness, but an epistemological condition that needs to be acknowledged in the activity of interpretation. Thus, Hidayatullah's critique opens up possibilities for feminist interpretations to develop a more reflective, critical, and open-minded epistemological approach to the plurality of meanings, while also being more careful when making claims about the truth of interpretations. %Z Najib Kaelani, S.
