However, many students still experience difficulties in applying tajwid, makharij al-huruf, fashahah, and the correct use of mad and qashr. Therefore, an effective instructional method is needed, one of which is the Talaqqi method. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Talaqqi method in improving the quality of tartil Qur'anic recitation, identify its supporting and inhibiting factors, explain teachers' efforts in overcoming learning obstacles, and examine its outcomes among sixth-grade students at SD IT Darussalam Bayan Purworejo. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach and was conducted from February to July 2026. The participants consisted of the principal, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, Tahfiz teachers (Murabbi), Islamic Religious Education teachers, and sixth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. Data validity was ensured through technique triangulation and member checking. The findings showed that the Talaqqi method was implemented systematically through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Supporting factors included the school's commitment, teachers' competence, regular learning activities, adequate facilities, a religious school environment, and parental support. The inhibiting factors were differences in students' recitation abilities, limited instructional time, boredom while waiting for recitation sessions, insufficient muroja'ah at home, and fluctuating learning motivation. Teachers addressed these challenges through individualized guidance, productive learning activities, continuous motivation, and collaboration with parents.
