This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with research subjects consisting of the principal, classroom teachers, and early childhood students in Group A at RA Masyithoh Patuk. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis employed is the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of three stages: data condentation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of reward and punishment to improve children’s social-emotional skills at RA Masyithoh Patuk is in corporated into the planning outlie in the prepared Daily Learning Implementation Plan. Reward are generlly given in the from of praise, apreciation, affection, and material reward, while punishment is given in the from of reprimand, warnings, threats, and commands. Evaluation is conducted weekly and monthly during parent meetings. The supporting factors for the implementation of reward and punishmet in improving the socio-emotional abilities of Group A children at RA Masyithoh Patuk include children’s willingness to socialize, the school environment and friendships, teacher involvement, and parental support. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in the application of reward and punishment are children’s uncontrolled emotions, underdeveloped behavior, inadequate social skills, and parental rejection. %Z Dra.
