abstract: The teaching of IPAS process skills elements at five elementary schools in Banguntapan Subdistrict has not been implemented significantly in accordance with the IPAS Learning Objectives in the Merdeka Curriculum. IPAS learning, which is the main objective of the Merdeka Curriculum, does not stop at understanding the basic concepts of IPAS material, but extends to the application of these basic concepts to more contextual, real-world, and dynamic problems by applying the indicators of process skills elements. Thus, students’ scientific thinking skills can be realized in IPAS learning activities. The development of this Process Skills- Based Picture Storybook with the theme “Harmony of My Indonesian Nature” aims to create a learning resource that can facilitate the teaching of IPAS process skills through problem-based learning. The objective of this study is to determine the feasibility of the developed product based on expert evaluation, practitioner feedback, and student readability tests. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) project using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, this study only reached the development stage. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire using a Likert scale in the form of a checklist. Data analysis employed both qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques, utilizing simple percentage calculations. A readability test was conducted in Class 5A at SD IT Salsabila Al-Muthi’in, with the test subjects being the 26 students in Class 5A. The results of the study indicate that the developed product is deemed “Highly Suitable” for use based on the assessment percentages from subject matter experts and media experts, which were 75% and 83%, respectively, falling into the “Fairly Valid” category. Furthermore, the practitioner response assessment yielded a “Very Good” rating, with a percentage of 92.85%. Furthermore, the readability test yielded an overall response percentage of 84.61%, categorized as “Very Good.” Thus, the developed picture storybook was deemed “Highly Suitable” and can be used as a learning resource for teaching process skills in IPAS at the elementary school level.
