Marking the tenth edition of the conference, IDACON 2026 carried the theme “Da’wah, Humanity, and Global Coexistence: Repositioning Religion in a Fragmented World,” providing a common framework for examining the evolving roles of religion and da’wah in responding to contemporary global challenges. By involving all study programs within FDK, the conference brought together interdisciplinary perspectives and diverse academic experiences. The conference featured a keynote session, four plenary sessions, panel discussions, and paper presentations. A total of 51 papers were presented, consisting of 35 papers selected through the Call for Papers and 16 papers resulting from Participatory Action Research (PAR) activities supported by FDK UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The contributions covered a broad range of issues, including digital da’wah, artificial intelligence, media and religious authority, environmental concerns, gender and family, social well-being, community empowerment, and contemporary challenges faced by communities. The inclusion of PAR-based works strengthened the connection between academic inquiry and community experiences through direct engagement with grassroots realities. IDACON 2026 involved 143 authors, including presenters and co-authors, representing 22 higher education institutions from five countries, comprising 16 institutions from Indonesia and six institutions from abroad. This participation reflects the development of academic networks and international collaborations fostered through the conference over its decade-long journey. Overall, IDACON 2026 served as a platform for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, critical reflection, and academic networking, while reaffirming the relevance of da’wah scholarship in addressing global fragmentation, humanitarian concerns, and the pursuit of peaceful and sustainable coexistence.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">297.6 Dakwah dan Penyiaran Islam</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-09-30</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>Faculty of Da’wah and Communication (FDK) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Conference or Workshop Item</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_78626"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_78626_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
