The development was motivated by the abstract nature of longitudinal wave concepts and the limited laboratory facilities at MA Plus Nururrohmah Kebumen, which resulted in instruction that tended to be theoretical and lecture-based. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), though the research was limited to the "Develop" stage. The resulting product is a laboratory apparatus set that integrates Kundt’s tube to visualize longitudinal waves and Melde’s experiment for transverse waves. Product quality is assessed based on the assessment of material experts and media experts. The results of the assessment of material experts with a total of one assessment obtained an average score of 3.867 in the Very Good category, while media experts with an average of 3.85 in the Very Good category. Overall, the apparatus received an average quality score of 3.833 (Very Good category). Regarding practicality, teacher assessments yielded an average of 3.833 (Very Practical category), while a limited trial with five students resulted in a score of 63 out of 70 (90%), also falling into the Very Practical category. Product effectiveness was tested using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design involving 28 Grade XI Science students. The average score rose from 48.21 on the pretest to 83.93 on the posttest, an increase of 35.72 points. The average N-Gain score was 0.68 (medium category), with 14 students in the high category, 12 in the medium category, and two in the low category.
