From this phenomenon of pilgrimage, the author will look for how society makes the practice of pilgrimage a psychological resource that helps individuals interpret, manage, and find meaning in difficult situations. One of the pilgrimage locations that has a special attraction is the Tomb of Sheikh Siti Jenar in Lemahabang Village, Pekalongan Regency. Sheikh Siti Jenar is known as a controversial spiritual figure in the history of Walisongo because of his teachings on Manunggaling Kawula Gusti which is considered different from Islamic thought. The process of searching for the meaning of life is closely related to the concept taught by Sheikh Siti Jenar, namely the concept of Manunggaling Kawula Gusti which emphasizes the spiritual connection between man and God. The doctrine views human life not as just a physical existence, but as a journey to understand the essence of the self, draw closer to God, and achieve deeper spiritual awareness. This study examines the practice of pilgrimage at the Tomb of Sheikh Siti Jenar, using the theory of religious coping of Kenneth I. Pargament. This research aims to understand the reasons why pilgrims make pilgrimages and how the practice functions as a religious strategy in dealing with the pressures of life. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, and is analyzed using techniques from Miles and Huberman in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the pilgrimage to the grave is not only interpreted as praying for the deceased, it is also a means of getting closer to Allah SWT., gaining inner peace, and helping individuals find meaning in facing various life problems. Some pilgrims make grave pilgrimages in order to solve life problems in the form of economic, family, romance, psychological, and social factors. The form of ritual carried out by a pilgrim is by reading prayers, tirakat and worship at the tomb, and the ritual of blessings. Meanwhile, in terms of effectiveness, pilgrims feel inner peace and can interpret life when making a pilgrimage to the grave. %K Ziarah, Religious Coping, Makna Hidup %D 2026 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib78648
