      "abstract": "This study aims to formulate an Information Systems and Information\r\nTechnology Strategic Plan (IS\/IT Strategic Plan) for PPTQ Baitul 'Abidin\r\nDarussalam, an Islamic boarding school specializing in Qur'anic\r\nmemorization that has independently developed an ERP-based digital\r\necosystem through its Sistem Informasi Baitul 'Abidin (SIB) 3.0. Despite SIB\r\n3.0 operating across several modules, its development has proceeded\r\norganically without a documented strategic governance framework,\r\nresulting in inter-unit data fragmentation, infrastructure limitations, and\r\nthe absence of a long-term IS\/IT development direction. This study\r\nemployed the Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM) by Peffers et\r\nal. (2007) as the primary methodological framework, integrated with the\r\nWard and Peppard (2002) analytical framework encompassing PEST\r\nanalysis, SWOT, Value Chain, Critical Success Factors (CSF), and the\r\nMcFarlan Strategic Grid. Data were collected through observation, semistructured\r\ninterviews with 14 stakeholders, Focus Group Discussion\r\n(FGD), and document analysis. The study produced two interconnected\r\nartifacts: the first artifact is a modular ERP-based High-Level Architecture\r\ncomprising six layers, 10 modules, and a unified database, agreed upon\r\nthrough three iterative demonstration-evaluation cycles with stakeholders;\r\nthe second artifact is an IS\/IT Strategic Plan document encompassing an IS\r\nstrategy (10 domains), an IT strategy (8 components), an IS\/IT management\r\nstrategy (7 components), an application portfolio (19 modules mapped to\r\nthe McFarlan Strategic Grid), and a five-year implementation Roadmap\r\nacross five phases, validated by key pesantren stakeholder representatives\r\nthrough a validation sheet covering nine organizational need aspects. The\r\ndual-artifact approach with phased iteration where the High-Level\r\nArchitecture serves as an iterative exploration and initial validation stage\r\nof organizational needs before the formal IS\/IT Strategic Plan is developed\r\nproved effective, confirming the feasibility of integrating DSRM and Ward\r\nand Peppard as an approach for formulating IS\/IT strategic plans within\r\nthe Islamic boarding school context.",
