The working relationship between the company and driver-partners is bound by an electronic standard agreement. In practice, however, a deviant phenomenon has emerged where certain drivers utilize modified applications (ShopeeFood Driver Mod) to manipulate location coordinates (fake GPS) to obtain instant orders. The main problem in this research is to find out the motivating factors for driver partners to use the modified ShopeeFood application and to analyze this phenomenon through the perspective of Islamic Legal Sociology. The type of this research is field research. This research employs an empirical (sociological) juridical approach with a descriptive qualitative research specification. Primary data was obtained through observations of ShopeeFood driver partners in Yogyakarta, while secondary data were gathered through document studies of partnership agreement clauses, the ShopeeFood code of conduct, and Islamic law literature. The results of the research indicate that economic factors and intense algorithmic competition are the primary drivers for driver-partners to engage in such speculative actions. Examined from the Sociology of Islamic Law, the use of modified applications constitutes a violation of the agreed contract (akad/agreement clauses). This location manipulation violates the principle of distributive justice, creates unfair competition, and contains elements of injustice (dhulm) and falsehood (batil) as it harms the rights of other driver-partners who work honestly. This phenomenon demonstrates a gap between normative law (the code of conduct and Islamic law) and the reality of society's socio-economic behavior in the field due to the pressing urgency of livelihood fulfillment.} }
