However, this practice has also given rise to various legal issues, one of which involves consumers who have completed payment but fail to receive the concert tickets as promised. Such circumstances result in financial losses for consumers and raise questions regarding the legal protection available to consumers, the liability of proxy service providers, and the legal remedies that consumers may pursue. This study aims to analyze the factors causing consumers to fail to obtain concert tickets through online ticket proxy services, examine the forms of legal protection and the liability of proxy service providers under Indonesian law, and analyze the legal remedies available to consumers in seeking compensation for the losses they have suffered.This research employs an empirical juridical approach using both statutory and sociological approaches. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to consumers who had used online ticket proxy services and experienced losses, while secondary data were obtained through library research, including legislation, books, journals, and other relevant legal literature. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively by correlating empirical findings with the applicable legal provisions. The results of this study indicate that consumers' failure to obtain concert tickets through proxy services is caused by several factors, including limited ticket availability, the inability of proxy service providers to secure tickets, negligence in performing contractual obligations, and fraudulent practices committed by irresponsible parties. Legal protection for consumers is provided under Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, the Indonesian Civil Code, and regulations governing electronic transactions. Proxy service providers are legally responsible for compensating consumers if they are proven to have committed a breach of contract or other unlawful acts causing consumer losses.
