"This study examines the RendangMu Program at Lazismu Klaten through\r\nthree focuses: the reasons for preserving and canning qurbani meat, the\r\nmanagement flow and the contracts and transactions involved, and the effectiveness\r\nof distribution together with its social benefit.\r\nIt uses empirical legal research with a descriptive-analytical and\r\nsociological approach. Primary data were obtained from interviews with eight\r\ninformants consisting of two administrators/program managers and six\r\nbeneficiaries, supported by and documentation. Secondary data include MUI and\r\nDSN-MUI fatwas, food-safety regulations, official Lazismu publications, and\r\nrelevant previous studies. The data were analyzed through reduction,\r\ncategorization, researcher interpretation, Max Weber’s rationality theory, Anthony\r\nGiddens’s theory of modernity, Islamic legal analysis, and comparison with prior\r\nresearch.\r\nThe findings show that canning was selected in response to the limited shelf\r\nlife, unequal distribution, and geographic limits of fresh meat. The relationship\r\nbetween donors and Lazismu contains elements of wakālah that require transparent\r\nexplanation, while animal procurement and processing services constitute separate\r\ntransactions that must be traceable. Distribution is qualitatively effective in\r\ntargeting, timing flexibility, reach, ease of use, and social acceptance, but cannot\r\nbe assessed absolutely because quantitative data on costs, beneficiary coverage,\r\nand laboratory verification of shelf life remain limited. Normatively, processing\r\nand delayed distribution are permissible insofar as they comply with Islamic\r\nrequirements, food-safety standards, and demonstrable public benefit."^^ .
