      "abstract": "The educational policy transformation by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) through the Deep Learning approach aims to foster meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning experiences. However, the translation of this policy into national competencies reveals a form of selective appropriation of Michael Fullan’s theoretical framework of deep learning. This mechanistic adoption risks falling into logocentrism, which leads to semantic reduction, distortion of the essence of learning, and epistemological impasses in the formulation of graduate profiles. This study aims to analyze the structural tensions within Kemendikdasmen's Deep Learning policy through Jacques Derrida’s deconstructive perspective, while offering the local wisdom values of Sultan Agung’s Serat Sastra Gendhing as an alternative framework to reconstruct these policy limitations.\r\nThis study employs a qualitative library research methodology with interpretative and hermeneutic approaches. Primary data sources consist of Kemendikdasmen policy documents (Permendikdasmen No. 10\/2025, No. 13\/2025, and No. 19\/2025), the manuscript of Serat Sastra Gendhing, and Jacques Derrida’s foundational text Of Grammatology. Data analysis was systematically conducted through qualitative condensation, data display, and deductive conclusion drawing, with data trustworthiness verified through theory triangulation.\r\nThe results reveal that Kemendikdasmen's policy represents a selective appropriation of Michael Fullan’s deep learning concept, creating a semantic impasse (aporia) in communication and collaboration competencies, as well as partial-reductive relationships in critical thinking and creativity. This impasse can be reconstructed through Serat Sastra Gendhing by harmonizing sastra (policy substance\/knowledge) with gendhing (pedagogical practice\/sensibility), and applying pangolahing rasa (cultivation of inner feeling) to balance cognitive mastery with ethical, moral, and spiritual awareness.",
