      "abstract": "This research is motivated by legal issues concerning\r\nthe revocation of the National Strategic Project (PSN) status of\r\nPantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 based on Supreme Court Decision\r\nNumber 12 P\/HUM\/2025, particularly regarding the authority\r\nof regional governments in implementing regional autonomy.\r\nThe designation of PIK 2 as a PSN raised issues concerning the\r\nauthority of central and regional governments in spatial\r\nplanning, licensing, and environmental supervision. In\r\naddition, the revocation of PSN status does not automatically\r\nresolve projects and licenses that had been implemented\r\npreviously. These issues are also examined from the perspective\r\nof Maṣlaḥah, namely whether the revocation can prevent\r\nmafsadah and realize public welfare and environmental\r\nprotection.\r\nThis research aims to analyze the juridical implications\r\nof the revocation of PIK 2’s PSN status for the implementation\r\nof regional autonomy in Indonesia and to examine the urgency\r\nof the revocation from the perspective of Maṣlaḥah. This\r\nresearch uses library research with a descriptive-analytical\r\nmethod. The approaches used are the statutory approach and\r\nthe conceptual approach. Primary, secondary, and tertiary\r\nlegal materials are analyzed through normative qualitative\r\nanalysis using legal argumentation.\r\nThe results show that Supreme Court Decision Number\r\n12 P\/HUM\/2025 restores regional government authority in\r\nspatial planning, licensing, and environmental supervision\r\nwithin the framework of regional autonomy. However, the\r\nrevocation has not fully resolved the legal issues because\r\npreviously implemented projects and licenses may still cause\r\nregulatory overlap and legal uncertainty. From the perspective\r\nof Maṣlaḥah, the revocation of PIK 2’s PSN status is a\r\ncorrective measure that can be categorized as Maṣlaḥah\r\nbecause it aims to prevent mafsadah and protect the public\r\ninterest. However, such benefits cannot be fully achieved\r\nwithout evaluating existing licenses, spatial planning,\r\ncommunity protection, and environmental restoration.",
