The main issue raised is how socio-religious institutions can maintain their operations and social services without relying on incidental external assistance. The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of grant and alms management and analyze its contribution to the independence and sustainability of the institution through the perspectives of POAC Management Theory, Good Governance, Social Capital, Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Institutional Sustainability. This study is a qualitative field study with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Al-Jenderami Foundation manages grants and alms through planning, collection, utilization, and supervision carried out through individual grants, collective grants, cash alms, and in-kind alms. The collected resources are then developed into social and economic assets, such as the PPSHIA Complex, mosques, educational facilities, hotels, cafes, and shophouses. This management contributes to institutional independence by strengthening financial resources, empowering the foundation to manage assets, and enhancing human resource capacity. The resulting economic assets also provide income to support the foundation's operations and sustainable development. Thus, grant and infaq management not only meets the foundation's needs but also serves as a source of asset development and institutional capacity, strengthening the institution's independence and sustainability. date: 2026-07-29 date_type: published pages: 121 institution: UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA department: FAKULTAS DAKWAH DAN KOMUNIKASI thesis_type: skripsi thesis_name: other citation: Salma An-Nisa, NIM.: 22102030053 (2026) PENGELOLAAN HIBAH DAN INFAK DI YAYASAN AL-JENDERAMI MALAYSIA SEBAGAI PRAKTIK KEMANDIRIAN INSTITUSI YANG BERKELANJUTAN.
