The study was motivated by the persistent negative stigma surrounding ODGJ, who are often viewed as irrational, dangerous, and unable to function socially; thus, a more humanistic and spiritual Islamity-based rehabilitation approach is needed. This study employs a qualitative method using a case study approach. Data collection techniques include in depth interviews, observation, and documentation, involving caregivers, staff, and rehabilitation residents as research informants. Data analysis utilizes the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while data validity is tested through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that spiritual Islamity based interpersonal communication is carried out through verbal and nonverbal communication. Verbal communication is manifested through the use of simple language, advice, motivation, and a non-coercive approach, while nonverbal communication is manifested through expressions of empathy, soothing touch, spiritual Islam guidance, dhikr, and shared worship routines. This approach is able to create a sense of psychological safety, strengthen the emotional bond between caregivers and students, and help students rebuild their self-confidence and positive self-identity. This study concludes that spiritual Islamity-based interpersonal communication functions not only as a medium for conveying messages but also as an effective means of emotional and spiritual Islam healing in building a positive image of ODGJ as individuals who are accepted, valued, and have the potential to recover in social life.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">302.2 Communication/Komunikasi</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2026-07-15</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN HUMANIORA</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_79049"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_79049_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
