This research aims to understand how the selametan tradition in Andungsari Village constructs sacredness and how Islamic ecotheological values are contained in the sacred symbolism. The research method used is an ethnographic approach, with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using Saussure's semiotic framework, which helps to explore the structure of the sign system in the ritual tradition. The results of this study show that the tradition of the Red Lake selametan in Andungsari Village has a complex sign structure, consisting of spatial signs (lakes as a marker of sacredness), verbal signs (welcomes, tahlil, prayers, prayers), material signs (seven-face flowers, rice tumpeng, offerings of animal heads, and eating together), and corporeal signs (processions and sowing offerings). This entire system of signs is intertwined in syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationships, forming a coherent structure of meaning. In the analysis of Islamic ecotheological values, the study found that this tradition contains values such as monotheism, caliph and trust, mizan, hifz al-bi'ah, and gratitude. The construction of sacredness in this tradition is not only a spiritual construction, but also a social mechanism to maintain a balance between man, nature, and God. %K Tradisi, Selametan Danau Merah, Sakralitas, Saussure %D 2026 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib79154
