%T KONSELING KELOMPOK UNTUK MENGURANGI RESIKO TOXIC RELATIONSHIP PADA SISWA KELAS XI DI MAN 4 BANTUL
%X Toxic relationship is a damaged relationship caused by conflict, manipulation, and lack of support. Group counseling, as one of the responsive services in guidance and counseling, can serve as a preventive effort to help students understand, overcome, and reduce the risk of toxic relationships. This study aims to identify, describe, and analyze the stages of group counseling in reducing the risk of toxic relationships among 11th-grade students at MAN 4 Bantul, as well as to identify obstacles that arise during the process. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative analysis method. The research subject is the Guidance and Counseling Teacher at MAN 4 Bantul, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data validity was tested using methodological triangulation by comparing the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that there are 4 stages of group counseling consisting of the initial stage, transition stage, working stage, and termination stage. The obstacles include difficulty in building trust with students, insufficient number of guidance and counseling teachers leading to overload of incidental cases, and lack of understanding among other teachers regarding the services provided by guidance and counseling teachers.
