EVALUASI MANAJEMEN PERPUSTAKAAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL CIPP (CONTEXT, INPUT, PROCESS, AND PRODUCT) DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH BODON KECAMATAN BANGUNTAPAN KABUPATEN BANTULNIM.: 21101040018Fadhilatul AmriauthorThis research aims to evaluate the management of the Kuntum Melati Library of Muhammadiyah Bodon Elementary School using the CIPP Model and to determine the steps that can be taken by the library as an effort to improve based on the deficiencies found in the field. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Miles and Huberman's theory is used in the data analysis method which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity are triangulation and member check. The results show that: In the context evaluation, the Kuntum Melati Library didn’t conduct user analysis and SWOT analysis as an initial step in planning. The problems faced are related to the budget, communication with school residents, and lack of supporting facilities. The assets owned by the library are in the form of adequate facilities and infrastructure, while opportunities are obtained from library cooperation with external parties. The input evaluation shows that the determination of human resources does not meet the qualification standards of library staff, there is no long-term plan, the budget is tentative, and the strategy is in the form of a survey of collection needs for the development of program collections and orientation as education and library promotion. The evaluation of the process is running well including supervision by the principal through supervision, direction, and functionalization. Coordination is not running optimally due to double jobs. Product evaluation shows that there are library reports. In terms of library function achievement, there are still shortcomings in the simple research function. The products produced are synopsis services, reading corners, bulletins, and book king-queen programs.
